with his 'brother' Abu
We picked Sushi up at the Humane society way back in 08/93. He was an
itty bitty little 6 wk old baby, who'd been slammed into the wall. While
we were looking at kitties, he reached out and grabbed Dan's arm as if
to say "I chose you"

Throughout the years, Sushi provided us with a lot of entertainment. His favorite toy was the ring off a milk container. He greeted each visitor the same: on their lap, and lots of headbutts. One weekend, when my ex-father-in-law visited, Sushi woke him up in the middle of the night chewing on his beard.

The kitty pile
After being a 'city cat' for 7 yrs, we moved to the country, where Sushi showed us what a wonderful mouser he was. Thankfully, he never shared with me. He passed his skills on to the "Brat Pack", Herbie & Treasure. They have huge paw prints to fill

Chronic Renal Failure coupled with urinary tract infections took my darling little seal point baby from me. I'll miss his Sushi kisses, his loving, and his beautiful blue eyes. I pray he comes back to me one day, but fear that like Schatzi, he was a once in a lifetime kitty.

This site is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Schatzi, Obie, Sushi, Cleo & all my other loved ones waiting patiently for me at the Rainbow Bridge
