Showing Umbra to his title was an absolute ride! He was shown sparingly and
finished rather quickly in the competitive NE as a 'non white dog'
(IOW, a different type of dog entirely) in white dog
country.
Unfortunately, the ride had to end. My
handsome boy was Diagnosedd 10/9 with a heart tumor, and slipped away in his
sleep 12/20/09. As always, he did his best for his mama and made sure I
didn't have to make that awful decision. Each day I had was a blessing and we took them one at a time.
Farewell my sweet prince.

BCOA 2004 Centennial Nationals
Umbra made multiple cuts from 30 BBE dogs down to the last 9 under Kent Delaney.
To say that I'm pleased is an understatement, considering who (the
Legends) I was left
standing in the ring with at that time. His sister also made
the cut in Ambred.
What a fitting tribute to their mother Rinka.
